AFK Arena. You play as the legendary mage Merlin, who has lost his memory. Unlike its 2D predecessor, AFK Journey features a seamless open-world map that you can physically explore to find treasures, solve puzzles, and fight roaming enemies. Thoran remains the king of tanks due to his "Resurrection" mechanic, which allows him to soak infinite damage for a few seconds, die, and come back to do it again. For pure damage mitigation, Antandra (Mauler) is an excellent early-game shield who taunts enemies effectively.

Unlike other gachas where you pull random units, AFK Journey lets you fill a "Wishlist" in the Noble Tavern. You will ONLY pull S-Level heroes that are on your wishlist. If you leave a slot empty or fill it with a bad hero, you are wasting your pity timer. Always keep meta units like Cecia, Thoran, Eironn, and Smokey & Meerky on your wishlist.
