How do I survive when massive fish keep one-shotting me?
The early game relies heavily on situational awareness and patience. Do not try to rush the crowded center of the map. Stick to the edges, eat the smallest passive bait fish to level up slowly, and immediately dash away if you see a predator that is even a few levels higher than you, as the level disparity in this game is very punishing.
How do I unlock new species?
New marine species are unlocked by leveling up your account, gathering resources from matches, and progressing through the Codex. Each new fish has different base stats and special skills that drastically change how you approach the feeding frenzy.
