Instead of directly retelling the story of the comic or the Amazon Prime animated series, the game features an original narrative where you work under Cecil Stedman to manage the Global Defense Agency (GDA). You recruit a roster of iconic characters—like Invincible, Atom Eve, Omni-Man, and even the Mauler Twins—to fight back against a mysterious army of clones. The gameplay mixes traditional gacha hero-collection with idle squad battles. You deploy teams to run multiple simultaneous "GDA Ops" in the background to gather resources while you are offline, then use those resources to level up and equip your heroes with artifacts for the harder campaign stages.
