Neo Artifacts is an anime-style, turn-based tactical RPG that brings historical relics and works of art to life as powerful characters known as Artifacters. Set in a modern urban world plagued by anomalies called Distortions, you take on the role of the Curator, managing operations from the Kantie Foundation. The core gameplay revolves around highly strategic, isometric grid-based combat. Victory depends entirely on positioning, taking advantage of terrain elevation, and mastering the elemental rock-paper-scissors cycle. A standout feature of the battle system is the "Undo" mechanic, which allows you to rewind a limited number of mistakes per battle, encouraging players to experiment with risky flanks and aggressive maneuvers. In my opinion, the visual presentation and star-studded Japanese voice acting in Neo Artifacts are absolutely top-notch, elevating the rich, artifact-inspired character designs. The tactical grid combat feels very reminiscent of classic genre staples, requiring genuine thought rather than just letting an auto-battler run wild. However, you should definitely clear out some space on your phone before diving in; the high-quality assets and extensive voice lines require a massive additional download of over 10 GB. It is a fantastic, deep strategy experience if you have the storage capacity and patience for long story segments.
