Step-by-step: North War code redemption
- 1Launch North War: Island Defense 3D and clear the initial tutorial stages to gain full access to the main menu.
- 2Tap on your Player Avatar or the Settings (gear) icon, typically located in the top-left or top-right corner of the screen.
- 3In the settings or profile menu, locate and tap the Redeem Code or Gift Code button.
- 4Enter your active promo code exactly as it is formatted into the text input box.
- 5Tap Confirm or Exchange to submit the code.
- 6Return to your in-game mailbox or inventory to instantly claim your free gems, hero shards, and upgrade materials!
North War codes not working?
North War codes can stop working at any time. Here are the most common reasons a code might fail and how to fix each one:
- The code has expired. Codes are often time-limited. Some expire within 24 hours of release. If a code isn’t working, it may have already expired. We mark codes as expired as soon as we confirm them.
- Codes are case-sensitive. This game enforces exact capitalization, so "HINEWBIE" won’t work if typed as "hinewbie". Copy the code directly from our list to avoid mistakes.
- Already redeemed. Codes are single-use. If you’ve redeemed a code before, even months ago, it’s permanently claimed on your account and can’t be used a second time.
- Complete the tutorial first. For North War, the code redemption feature is locked until you finish the tutorial. Play through the introductory stages, then revisit the code entry screen.
- Platform or region mismatch. With versions on iOS, Android, not every code works across all platforms. Double-check that the code applies to the version you’re playing.
- Check your in-game mail. Rewards from codes like "HINEWBIE" don’t always appear on screen right away. Check your in-game mailbox, gift center, or inbox after redeeming, since items are often delivered there instead.
- Update required. New codes are sometimes tied to the latest game version. If a brand-new code isn’t working, make sure your client is fully updated.
