What is Pokemon Z-A?
Pokémon Legends: Z-A is the latest major entry in the Pokémon Legends series, released worldwide on October 16, 2025. Unlike the sprawling wilderness of Legends: Arceus, this adventure takes place entirely within Lumiose City during a massive urban redevelopment project. Players work alongside the Quasartico Inc. corporation to create a city where humans and Pokémon coexist. The game introduces a real-time combat system where trainers and Pokémon move freely during battles, a departure from traditional turn-based mechanics. It also marks the grand return of Mega Evolution, featuring both classic transformations and brand-new "Z-A" forms. With the recently released Mega Dimension DLC (December 2025), the Pokédex has expanded further to include powerful new Megas like Mega Zeraora and Mega Baxcalibur.

How to Redeem Pokemon Z-A Codes
- 1Most rewards in Legends: Z-A are distributed via the Mystery Gift system or earned through the Z-A Battle Club.
- 2Open the main menu by pressing X.
- 3Select Link Play and then Mystery Gift.
- 4Choose Get with Code/Password to enter a text code, or Get via Internet for general distributions.
- 5For Ranked rewards (like Mega Stones), you must participate in at least one match in the current season and then check the Battle Club menu after the season ends.
Why Aren't My Pokemon Z-A Codes Working?
Pokemon Z-A codes can stop working at any time. Here are the most common reasons a code might fail and how to fix each one:
- The code has expired. Many codes have a short shelf life, sometimes lasting only a day or two. If you’re seeing an error, the code may have already been deactivated. Check the status tag next to each code on our list.
- Double-check for typos. Capitalization doesn’t matter for these codes, but spelling does. Even one wrong letter or number will cause the code to fail — copying from our list is the safest option.
- Already redeemed. Codes are single-use. If you’ve redeemed a code before — even months ago — it’s permanently claimed on your account and can’t be used a second time.
- Platform or region mismatch. With versions on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, not every code works across all platforms. Double-check that the code applies to the version you’re playing.
- Check your in-game mail. In Pokemon Z-A, rewards are often sent to your in-game mailbox rather than appearing on screen. Check your mail, gift box, or inbox after redeeming to collect your items.
