Game Overview
Soulbound Awakening it bills itself as a high-energy RPG focused on "soul contracts" and "resonance awakenings." In reality, it's an unofficial, unlicensed mobile game heavily utilizing assets and characters from the classic anime Shaman King. The gameplay itself is standard idle-RPG fare. You'll spend most of your time pulling for new spirits in the gacha system, building out a squad, and letting them auto-battle their way through campaign stages and arena matches. While the animations are surprisingly decent for a shell app, you should expect the usual progression hurdles. The game is incredibly generous in your first few hours to get you hooked, but you'll eventually hit a massive difficulty spike. At that point, getting stronger means pulling duplicate characters to awaken them—a grind that heavily pushes you toward opening your wallet for premium currency.
