Launch War Vow and complete the mandatory city-building and combat tutorial to unlock the main world map.
- From your city view, tap on your Lord Avatar (Profile Icon) located in the top-left corner of the screen.
- In the Lord Profile menu, select the Settings gear icon at the bottom.
- Locate and tap the Redeem Code or Gift Code button to open the redemption window.
- Carefully type your active promo code into the text box.
- Hit Confirm to instantly claim your free Gems, construction Speed-ups, and Commander EXP tomes from your in-game System Mail!

Questions & answers
How do I protect my troops from being attacked while I'm offline?
The absolute best way to keep your army safe from higher-level players is to use an active Peace Shield, which prevents any hostile scouting or attacks on your city. If you are out of shields, you can also send your troops to gather resources at a distant Alliance Resource Node, or temporarily garrison them inside the heavily defended castle of an allied "whale" (high-level player).
What should I focus on upgrading first?
Always prioritize your main Castle (or City Hall) level. Advancing your Castle tier is the primary bottleneck for unlocking higher-tier troops (T3 and T4), which are essential for defending your territory and dealing meaningful damage in late-game Alliance wars.
Do War Vow codes expire?
