You take up the mantle of a young warrior from the Howling Wind Clan, tasked with stopping the resurrected evil dragon Nero from plunging the continent into darkness. The game allows you to choose from four distinct core classes, such as the agile Assassin or the well-rounded Saber, before setting you loose in a visually vibrant 3D world. While you can manually control your movement and ability cooldowns, the progression relies heavily on its built in auto pathing and auto combat systems to push you through the main narrative and daily resource grinds. Along the way, you will collect and evolve magical companions like thunderhawks and cloud foxes to boost your combat power during large scale multiplayer boss raids. Personally, I find the character art style and the sheer variety of rideable companions to be the high points of the experience. However, the heavy automation might turn off players looking for a mechanically demanding action game. It is clearly designed for those who enjoy optimizing gear loadouts and watching their combat power numbers climb without needing to micromanage every single swing of a sword. The endgame progression can also feel gated by daily stamina limits, making it a better idle side game than an intense, primary focus.
