Despite the developer's store description claiming that "combat relies on skill rather than stats," the reality is a heavily monetized gacha experience. The initial honeymoon phase showers you with summons and rapid progression, but you will quickly hit massive Combat Power walls. Advancing your rarest crew members past the mid-game requires pulling duplicate character shards, pushing free-to-play users toward expensive premium currency bundles (with in-app purchases reaching up to $99.99).
